Steady trends continue in the Greater Vancouver housing market

 "We've seen steady and consistent trends in the Greater Vancouver housing market for much of this year," Sandra Wyant, REBGV president said. "This year's activity has resulted in gradual and modest increases in home prices of approximately 1% over the last 12 months in the region."

Highlights from the November Stats Package include:
  • 2,321 total residential sales reported on the MLS® in November 2013

  • this represents a 37.7% increase compared to the 1,686 sales recorded in November 2012

  • 3,245 total new listings added to the MLS® in November 2013

Benchmark prices for South Burnaby properties for November 2013:

  •  Single Family Detached - $978,700

  • Townhouse - $405,800

  • Condo - $376,800
