The most expensive detached home sold in all of South Burnaby for the year to date, 2013, was 5460 Sperling Avenue, across the street from Deer Lake. 7 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms (one for each - they are all ensuites), 5,607 square feet on a massive lot of 16,091 square feet - just over a third of an acre... 

 Sale price for this big beauty with a view?  $2,938,000 and it only took 90 days to sell. 


 So what was the lowest sale price for a detached home in South Burnaby so far? Year to date? Glad you asked. 

 4552 Garden Grove Drive in Greentree Village sold for $531,000 in 185 days in May 2013. 3 bedrooms (all on the same level), 2 bathrooms, 3 levels with 1,567 square feet of living space. The lot is smaller than average, measuring 31 X 90 for a total of 2,790 square feet.

 Homes in Greentree Villiage represent a terrific value (detached homes routinely sell here for under $600k) and an excellent alternative to townhouse living. Plus no strata fee...
